Room to Flourish
A growing mission in the Philippines is finding space not only to gather, but to flourish. For Camp Tinio Zion UMC, what began as a ministry meeting in a church member’s home has become a dedicated mission hall where leaders are being trained, faith is being nurtured, and lives are being transformed.
Now, the next chapter is underway. A residential space is being built for the mission’s Pastor and Deaconess, supporting the continued growth and care of this vibrant community. This work is made possible through the Herman & Mildred Klindworth fund held with Faith Foundation Northwest through a partnership with Grace United Community Church in Connell, WA. The Klindworths homesteaded near Connell and had a heart for international missions. Both Herman and Mildred were deeply affected by a visit to a leprosarium in Liberia in 1971, and they made it a priority to support ministries abroad.
This is the powerful impact of a memorial fund: honoring a life by investing in others. It is a reflection of faith in action. Our generosity can cross borders, strengthen communities, and help God’s work continue to grow.
We are grateful to walk alongside families who choose to create legacies like this and support these stories that continue to unfold, one act of care at a time.
