About the Course
From biblical times to our current reality, leaders of faith communities face financial questions, challenges and blessings. Acquiring the skills and courage to lead people into new lands of opportunity still takes spiritual discipline and knowledge. Leaders must navigate our own relationship with money as well as decipher past organizational history while also developing organizational skills, systems and principles about financial stewardship.
How do Mission Clarity, Trust and Financial Integrity impact Generosity and Congregational Financial Sustainability? Through financial best practices. You will cultivate generosity by acquiring powerful tools and practicing leadership skills that:
1) increase missional relevance and partnerships,
2) clarify financial roles and responsibilities and
3) implement sound financial practices in your ministry setting.
Building on a biblical foundation, we will explore how financial planning and systems, organizational development, and legal responsibilities of non-profits intersect with vision, generosity cultivation, church budgets and financial reports. We will consider the purpose of policies, how to build donor confidence and the importance of aligning church nonprofit financial statements with our stated mission.
This Course is designed to equip leaders with tools and knowledge to increase financial wisdom, integrity and credibility for any ministry context, fiscal position or level of financial health. Investing in your leadership will increase generosity while growing your financial capacity and your ministry!
