As part of an event called “The Art of Dying: a crash course on end-of-life conversations,” our Associate Director Julia Frisbie will be offering a will writing workshop at Marysville UMC. This free, public event also includes workshops by clergy and hospice workers, along with a light lunch.

Julia will answer common questions, like: what is probate? How are different bequests taxed? What should I think about if I want to leave a gift to charity? And, most importantly, how can I provide for individuals and communities that I love after my lifetime? You will go home with a better understanding of how wills are written and executed, along with a complimentary “Planning Your Legacy” booklet and sample bequest language.
