Associate Director Julia Frisbie will preach and teach a planned giving workshop at Bear Creek UMC in Woodinville, WA on Sunday, November 10th.

Here’s a sneak peak of the sermon: Our bodies are time-bound. The stories we tell are not. What does it mean to have temporary bodies and permanent stories? With examples from scripture, tradition, reason, and experience, we’ll consider the ways that people are remembered beyond their lifetimes. We’ll also imagine our own legacies— and how they’re shaped, first and foremost, by God’s love.

After fellowship hour, the planned giving workshop will cover tax-wise ways to give. Our discussion will be informal, informative and even light-hearted. Please plan to join us, you will be glad you did!
